March 14, 2015 & March 28, 2015- Holt to host Pop-Ups Ramen Shops on March 14th at Time Out Tavern serving Ramen and  on March 28th at The Dubliner serving Duck Ramen.

Justin Holt has been surprising people around the city of Dallas with underground Pop-Up Ramen Shops for the past four years. He began at Tradewinds and due to popular demand has been spotted at The Windmill Lounge, Oak Cliff Social Club, and Ten Bells.

“I like doing these events because it allows me another outlet for my creativity.” says Holt, “I enjoy soup and I love making noodles. I hope that these Pop-Up Ramen shops are an interesting way for the general dining public to try something they may not have had before in a familiar atmosphere.”

Holt will feature his signature Ramen (chicken and pork shoyu, egg, scallion, smaltz, and chasu) at Time Out Tavern on March 14th from 12 AM-2 AM, or until the soup is gone. You can snag a bowl for a mere $10 cash.

On March 28th Holt will be venturing out a bit to serve Duck Ramen (shoyu broth, confit duck, bamboo shoot, and scallion) at The Dubliner from 12 AM- 2 AM, or until the last skewer is passed. The charge for the Duck Ramen will be $10.

People are encouraged to come early, as it is common for Holt’s events to sell out within an hour or so.

Justin Holt is the Co-Sous Chef at Lucia in the Bishop Arts District. Lucia is open Tuesdays through Saturdays at 5:30 PM and reservations are highly recommended.
