We checked out Sip and Savor, a beautifully quaint Victorian home from the 1890’s turned bistro with a huge emphasis on wine. The business is located in the furthest point of Coit Road in Plano and is owned and operated by John Weeks.
The restaurant has a full capacity of 70 people including outdoor dining, but can accommodate at least 100 people in a reception-style event. And Weeks has hosted plenty of events including baby and bridal showers, birthdays and other events.
“The home was built in 1893 by the Wells family and is still owned by their family trust. The Wells were among the original settlers of Plano,” said Weeks.
The restaurant offers a full menu and is open Tuesday through Saturday. The offerings include sandwiches and salads along with a good selection of cheeses and desserts. You may also buy full bottles of wine to take home.
Check out Sip and Savor for an interesting repast and a great wine selection.
