Last week we mentioned that Vijay Sadhu was named the new executive chef at Cook Hall. Tonight you may check out his flavors at a special beer dinner when Cook Hall and Franconia Brewery four courses of pairings at his “Franconia Brewery Beer Dinner,” a prix fixe menu which begins at 7 p.m.
The dinner includes Singapore Stir-fry Chicken on Plantain Leaf paired with Franconia Amber, Ajo Blanco (Almond Gazpacho) – Grapes, Cucumbers, Toasted Almonds, Sourdough Croutons and Parsley Oil paired with Franconia Wheat, and a Smoked Rib-Eye – Maibock Beer Sauce and Smoked Collard Greens paitred with Franconia Maibock.
For dessert enjoy Banana Pecan Bread Pudding with Kolsch Sauce with a Kolsch Light.
