Opening its doors this past April, the Taproom at Lakewood Brewing Company is part of a new 14,000 square foot expansion. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy a spectacular view of the brewery production area while enjoying a pint of tasty goodness from the 16 taps. This month the Taproom will open up an outdoor, pet-friendly beer garden, equipped with plenty of seating and an outdoor stage where folks will be able to enjoy live music. Other Taproom perks include free Wi-Fi and food trucks just outside on the weekends.
Beginning on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, Lakewood Brewing Company will host any neighbor of the brewery, whether two miles away or 200, with a new weekly tradition called Neighbor Night. Guests will enjoy 20% off drafts from 3 to 8pm on Wednesdays.
Lakewood won gold for Rock Ryder at both the 2015 San Diego Int’l Beer Festival and 2015 Los Angeles Int’l Beer Festival. Goatman was named the National Grand Champion at the 2014 US Beer Tasting Championships, and Lakewood was recognized as the 2015 Texas Brewery of the year at the New York International Beer Competition. Lakewood beers are available throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area in bars, restaurants, and select retailers.
