We are very excited to announce that Lakewood Brewing Company was ranked #2 in the U.S. Beer Open, a national competition! The number one brewery was Ballast Point Brewing Company out of San Diego, CA. Overall, Lakewood brought home the following medals for the following beers:

Gold – Saint Dymphna – Belgian Tripel

Silver – Rock Ryder – American Wheat
Silver – Till & Toil – French & Belgian Saison
Silver – Bourbon Barrel Temptress (2014) – Wood & Barrel-aged Strong Stout

Founder Wim Bens and the team agree this is a win not only for LBC but for Texas in general. We, as a city and a state are making a name for ourselves in the craft beer market. We should all be proud. Overall, Texas brought home 25 medals.
