Sylvan | Thirty will soon be home to Houndstooth Coffee, the popular coffee shop that opened its first Dallas location last year on Henderson Avenue. In addition to its coffee and pastries, the Sylvan | Thirty shop will also feature a still-in-development food concept that will be new to the company.
“Sylvan | Thirty’s vision, tenant mix and surrounding communities feel right for what we aim to bring to the marketplace,” said Sean Henry, Houndstooth Coffee’s founder. “Also, the space will allow us to host lots of different people in new ways.”
The shop, which is slated to open in early 2016, will be located in the same building as TacoDeli, immediately north of the entry driveway from Sylvan Avenue (Building E).
“We take great care in selecting the best tenants to be part of Sylvan | Thirty. Houndstooth’s dedication to its craft, quality of product and its community make it a strong new addition to what we’re creating here,” said Brent Jackson, President of Sylvan | Thirty developer Oaxaca Interests.
Houndstooth Coffee was established in Austin in 2010 and currently operates three locations – two in Austin and one in Dallas. It has been called one of “America’s Best Coffee Bars” by Food & Wine magazine, and a reader’s choice numerous times by Austin Chronicle.
