Beginning with kick off keg taps Friday, Nov. 6, and concluding with a recovery brunch on Sunday, Nov. 15, North Texans will have hundreds of opportunities to toast North Texas (NTX) Beer Week at craft beer-loving venues across the region.  NTX Beer Week also coincides with Untapped Music and Beer Festival Nov. 7 and the second annual Brewer’s Ball, Nov. 13.

“Whether you’re contemplating venturing outside of your light beer comfort zone, or you’re the guy that already knows the nuances of every beer style, NTX Beer Week is a place for any beer fan to expand their knowledge and palette for craft beer,” said Matt Dixon, the newly appointed Executive Director of NTX Beer Week. “North Texas’ brew scene is growing exponentially, and NTX Beer Week is here to showcase our nationally-recognized talent.”

More than 100 regional venues, including area breweries, bars, and restaurants, will offer craft beer-centric events involving live music, beer releases, giveaways, tastings, rare tappings, chances to meet the brewers behind the beer…. and yes, beer yoga. Also, rock out brew in-hand at Untapped Dallas Music and Beer Festival headlined by The Flaming Lips Nov. 7 in Fair Park.

For a more intimate, black tie-esque experience – minus champagne and classical piano, add craft beer and drinking songs Dallas Opera-style – consider the second annual Brewer’s Ball, Friday, Nov. 13. Schmooze with the craft beer industry’s most distinguished individuals as local and national brewers show off some of their greatest work. Drinks will be paired with cuisine from the area’s top restaurants and serenaded by the Dallas Opera at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel.
