Graham Dodds “Meal in the Meadow” Benefits Trinity River Audubon Center

grahamby Steven Doyle

Trinity River Audubon Center is hosting a very special event on October 23rd with an evening under the Texas sky featuring craft beers, wine grown and bottled right here in Texas, and delectable dishes composed by Wayward Sons executive chef Graham Dodds. Plates will be created with fresh produce and sustainably-raised meats from nearby farms and ranches, served family-style in the meadow on the restored native prairie bordering the lush Great Trinity Forest.

Audubon Texas is passionate about connecting city kids to the outdoors and building a foundation for conservation stewardship. They work to open new eyes to nature whether it’s camping in the forest under a starry night sky, canoeing beside a beaver in the Trinity River, hearing an owl call for the first time, or cooking on the coals of a glowing campfire. The outdoors is an incredible context for life-long learning and a wonderful source for enriched life. Trinity River Audubon Center believes every child deserves the gift of this wild and beautiful world, and no child should be left inside.

Tickets can be purchased at the Center’s website.
