Wines and Spirits Announced for Park & Palate at Oct 22nd Grand Taste (Ticket Contest)

We are excited to announce the wineries and spirits that will be featured in its annual fundraiser, Park & Palate’s Grand Taste, on Saturday, October 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Guests at the Grand Taste will enjoy a tasting of premier wines, spirits, and beer, along with the best of Texas cuisine.   

We are so excited to showcase a wide variety of wines and spirits that perfectly complement the amazing lineup of culinary talent participating in this year’s Park & Palate,” said Erika White, vice president of events and programs at Klyde Warren Park. “We are deeply grateful for Republic National Distributing Company’s collaboration and support of Klyde Warren Park.”

Michael Martensen of Proof + Pantry and Madrina as well as Fairmont Tastemaker Nader Chabaane will prepare specialty Park & Palate craft cocktails featuring the following:

We’re excited to be a part of Klyde Warren Park’s annual fundraiser for the second year and host such an exciting culinary experience with world-class wines and spirits,” said Leon Cikota, vice president of Fine Wine Texas at Republic National Distributing Company.

This year’s Grand Taste will feature Texas’ top culinary, including the four-time James Beard Award-nominated chef from Dallas Kent Rathbun, John Tesar of Knife, Dean Fearing of Fearing’s, 23-year veteran chef John Coleman of Savor Gastropub, Jason Dady of the Jason Dady Restaurant Group and John Brand of Supper in San Antonio, Andrew Wiseheart of Contigo and Chicon, and more of the state’s best chefs from Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas.

The Grand Taste will take place on Saturday, October 22 at Klyde Warren Park, located at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway in downtown Dallas, Texas. A limited number of tickets are still available for $75 and can be purchased online. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as they will not be sold at the door. Proceeds will benefit Klyde Warren Park, which is managed by the nonprofit Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation.
