Cookie lovers in Allen and McKinney, rejoice! Tiff’s Treats, a Texas-based company known for its delicious cookies and brownies, baked fresh and delivered warm, is opening at 977 State Highway 121, Suite 160, (at Watters and 121) in Allen, to serve residents and businesses in the Allen and McKinney areas.

Tiff’s Treats will hold a grand opening fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will raise funds for the Michael Finley Foundation, which provides students and their families with fundamental skills and tools to achieve their personal and professional objectives.  The non-profit was started by Michael Finley, Dallas Mavericks legend and NBA world champion, who will meet and greet fans at the fundraiser from 9 to 11 a.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, guests can celebrate the store’s opening and help raise funds for the Michael Finley Foundation by purchasing up to six one-dozen boxes filled with one of Tiff’s Treats most irresistible cookie flavors: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin, for just $5 a box.  Proceeds up to $5,000 will be donated to the Michael Finley Foundation. Sales at this event are cash or credit card only (no gift cards, coupons, or other discounts will be accepted).

Tiff’s Treats’ warm cookie concept normally requires a 30-minute notice for pick-up orders or one hour for delivery — however, for the grand opening fundraiser, no advance order is required, and customers can simply walk into the new store and purchase hot cookies from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  This deal is valid only at the new Allen Tiff’s Treats location.

As the delicious aroma of fresh-from-the-oven cookies and brownies fills the air at the new store, guests can enjoy festivities and chances to win prizes. Get there early: the first ten people in line at the grand opening Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. will win a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card, while the next ten will receive a $50 gift card, the next ten will receive a $25 gift card and the next ten will win a $10 gift card. Guests who purchase a box of cookies at the grand opening can also enter in a drawing to win free Tiff’s Treats cookies for a year. Anyone who brings a new school supplies to donate to kids in the GIFTS program of the Michael Finley Foundation will also receive a $5 Tiff’s Treats gift card.

“Opening a location in Allen has been a goal of ours for a long time,” said Leon Chen, co-founder of Tiff’s Treats along with his wife, Tiffany.  The Chens are natives of Richardson, who started the company as students at the University of Texas. “Warm cookies bring a special kind of joy to people on a daily basis, and we’re glad that we can bring that to the Allen and McKinney communities.”
