Resto Gastro Bistro Closing

We received word yesterday that there is yet another fall-out in the restaurant industry, this time in Trinity Groves.

We have written many times about one of our favorites located just across the Hunt-Hill bridge in west Dallas, Resto Gastro Bistro. Cheffed and owned by DJ Quintanilla, he sent word that they were indeed closing. Here is that missive:

The new year brings great opportunities and while we are sad to close our doors as Resto Gastro Bistro at the end of the month, we’re thrilled to be opening in the Spring with a fresh new concept, Fat Chicken! We’re thankful for all of your support the past three years and excited to continue to bring delicious food with innovative concepts (chickarrones, anyone?) to the metroplex. Make plans to join us on NYE for one last hoorah as we say goodbye to RGB and hello to an exciting new year!

Chef DJ and the staff will remain intact and are re-imagining the space to become Fat Chicken which will open up late February.

Make your New Years reservations for Resto by calling (214) 584-6747.
