ScoreMore Shows is excited to announce the 2017 headlining artist and expanded lineup for the fifth annual JMBLYA, which is set to return to Texas this May. JMBLYA kicks off in Dallas on Friday, May 5, while the Austin leg of the tour will take place Saturday, May 6. GA and VIP tickets for each event are on sale now.
In the tradition of year’s past, JMBLYA will continue to offer festival-goers a stacked lineup filled to the brim with a highly curated selection of hip-hop and dance performers that blend together some of today’s biggest national acts with exciting up-and-comers. One of the most popular music artists in the country, Chance the Rapper, will headline this year’s two-day, two-city fest, following the success of last year’s highly applauded mixtape, Coloring Book—this marked the first streaming-only album to ever receive a Grammy nomination, for which he received three, including Best Rap Album.
Acclaimed DJ/producer and founder of Dim Mak Records, Steve Aoki, is also set to bring the party to Texas all weekend long, along with one of today’s most exciting breakout hip-hop artists Lil Uzi Vert, whose recent collaboration on Migo’s hit single “Bad and Boujee” resulted in his first number one single this January on the US Billboard Hot 100. Also performing are R&B singer 6LACK, who was named last November to Rolling Stone’s monthly list of “10 New Artists You Need to Know,” and beloved Memphis-based rapper Young Dolph. Additional artists include DFW’s own Snow Tha Product, Atlanta-based hip-hop artist YFN Lucci, and the multi-talented New Orleans-born rapper/singer/songwriter/producer Pell.
More artists for the fifth annual JMBLYA will be announced soon, in addition to location details for both cities. Add them on Facebook for up-to-the-minute details. The most current music lineup for JMBLYA 2017 can be found below:
