Fort Worth Oni Ramen known for their signature items such as the miso, tonkotsu, Kyushu & Oni Reaper will be opening in Deep Ellum late Spring of 2017 in Deep Ellum. The lease was signed today we confirmed.

The restaurant will keep the Oni Ramen name and carry some of the popular items they are best known for. Partner and chef Jesus Garcia will be working exclusively with the pork base and eliminate the chicken broth. The restaurant will still have the vegetarian and pescatarian options.

“The new location will be at 2822 Elm St, in front of Cafe Brazil. The unit is my ideal size, under 1500sq ft and will seat between 40-50 people. We will have an open kitchen. I am working on having a kiosk developed for the concept. We will serve beer, sake & wine since most of the bars around us will focus liquor and cocktails,” said Garcia today.

Look for late night eats at Oni Ramen which will stay open until 4am on Friday & Saturday. They also promise to stay up to date with shows in the neighborhood and try and stay open late on those nights to give people a place to eat.

“I plan on lowering my prices across the board from the Fort Worth location. With it being kiosk, I will eliminate tipping completely,”  offered Garcia.

Look for the new Deep Ellum restaurant soon, but enjoy the current location at 2801 West 7th, Fort Worth or call for more information at 817.882.6554.
