Fox Restaurant Concepts announced today that they are opening North Italia on June 27, 2017, in Plano, Texas. This will be their first North restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. North Italia will be located at Legacy West, just steps away from Sam Fox’s other popular restaurant, True Food Kitchen. North Italia will make its Plano debut with its signature menu featuring Italian dishes handmade from scratch daily.
The cuisine at North Italia is traditional but crafted through a modern lens to create delicious antipasti, handmade pizzas, pasta dishes, and so much more. Everything from the pasta to pizza dough is made fresh on the premises daily, and the menu constantly evolves to incorporate seasonal produce. These combine to create irresistible Italian favorites in a welcoming environment brimming with neighborhood charm. Signature dishes include The Pig Pizza with DiNapoli San Marzano tomato sauce, spicy pepperoni, soppressata, and Italian sausage; the Prosciutto Bruschetta with Crescenza cheese, grilled asparagus, and truffle; and the Burrata Tortelloni with heirloom cherry tomato, basil, and Pecorino.
Behind barricades, crews are already hard at work creating North Italia Plano’s modern 6,500 square-foot space and a 1,500 square-foot patio. The interior will have an exhibition kitchen overlooking the dining room, bar, and seating for up to 270 guests. The restaurant will also create nearly 127 new jobs in the Plano area, part of the Sam Fox family, of more than 5,000 employees nationwide.
The Plano location will open as the eleventh North Italia in the U.S., with other locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, and Texas. North Italia Plano marks the fourth Fox restaurant in the DFW area, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts’ network of nearly 60 restaurants nationwide. Fox is a James Beard-nominated restaurateur in the Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year category, and has been recognized as one of the 50 most powerful people in food service by Nation’s Restaurant News.
Open seven days a week, North Italia will offer lunch and dinner every day, and brunch on the weekends along with happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 – 6 p.m. North Italia will also offer half price bottles of wine all day on Sundays. For more information, visit their site ,
