Hard Rock Hosts World Burger Tour 2017

Shedding any preconceived notions of what a burger might be like at a Hard Rock Cafe we  checked out the latest World Burger Tour and were greatly surprised. The burger at Hard Rock is a player.

Typically you would find a burger with cheese, bacon and lettuce and other requisite toppings at Hard Rock along with their beautifully hand formed half-pound patty cooked anyway you please, including rare. This is a distinction shared by few burger makers in our area and is a sign of freshly ground beef that is never frozen. So dismiss any notions of mass production. These babies are legit and large enough to please any binging meat-eater.

Hard Rock is currently running their annual World Burger Tour which in Dallas includes their Korean Kimchi burger that has a delightful bulgogi sauce; the English Breakfast burger topped with breakfast sausage, a thick ham slice, Portobello mushrooms, tomato and a fried egg; the Jambalaya burger with a Cajun mayo, pickles, andouille sausage, pepper jack cheese and a jambalaya rice cake; and finally one called the Colombian Plantain with caramelized onion, garlic aioli, bacon, Monterey jack, and fried plantains.

All the burgers were shockingly delicious, with our favorites being the Kimchi and the Jambalaya burgers.

All these served with a variety of hand cut fries dressed and served with fun sauces. The fries were a meal unto themselves.

The drinks were all on the very sweet side, but could imagine some being delighted with a tall hurricane or other juice-based cocktails. They are fun, and that is what Hard Rock is all about. And the t-shirts.
