Taste Addison 2017 Line-Up And Win a Pair of Tickets!

A celebration of food, music, and fun, Taste Addison (May 19 – 21) dishes out the best food and flavor with a healthy side of jam. This year, guests will enjoy an array of activities, many of which are included with their admission ticket, such as the Wine Garden, Craft Beer Hall, cooking demos from Addison chefs and the Family Fun Lawn, featuring games, inflatables and face painting, in addition to all the live entertainment you can pack into three days.

Restaurant lineup

No matter what you’re craving, Taste Addison has it all! Wine Garden and Craft Beer Hall

In the exclusive Wine Garden presented by The Wine Group, guests will have a chance to sip fantastic wines from varied and vast appellations. Whether you have an affinity for bubbly

Prosecco from Italy or a zeal for the zing of Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma, your taste buds will dance with delight as you tour the garden. Check out the Craft Beer Hall, presented by Anheuser-Busch, inside the Addison Conference Centre. From Chicago’s award-winning Goose Island IPA “A Hop Lover’s Dream,” to Seattle’s Space Dust IPA from Elysian Brewing Co., experience a wide array of craft beers from across the country. There’s a TASTE for every beer lover.

Sampling hours for the Wine Garden and Craft Beer Hall

Friday, May 19: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, May 20: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, May 21: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Guests must be 21+ to enter both sections.

Painting with a Twist

Enjoy a step-by-step painting session with experienced and professional local artists. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation and a new found talent you’ll want to explore. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation and a new found talent. Classes are free but seats are limited.
Painting with a Twist schedule:

Friday: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Catch a demo on the Bowl Stage
Saturday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., every hour at the Addison Conference Centre
Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m., every hour at the Addison Conference Centre

Albertsons Tom Thumb Cooking Stage

Several of Addison’s most popular chefs will show you how to recreate your Taste Addison experience at home. See the shows and stay for the samples! All cooking demos take place on the Albertsons Tom Thumb Cooking Stage located inside the Addison Conference Centre.

Friday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m.: Watch Mad Batter Baker whip up tasty desserts.
Friday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m.: Enjoy the flavors of modern Mexico City with Cantina Laredo.
Saturday, May 20 at 1 p.m.: See Sean Hwang, head sushi chef at Addison’s RA Sushi Bar
Restaurant, craft delicious bites of exquisite sushi.
Saturday, May 20 at 4 p.m.: Learn Asian-inspired recipes from May Dragon.
Saturday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m.: A new addition to Addison restaurants, T. Blanco’s will share authentic Mexican food recipes.
Saturday, May 20 at 7 p.m.: Join Table 13 for a fine dining cooking experience.
Sunday, May 21 at 12:30 p.m.: Learn Asian-inspired recipes from May Dragon.
Sunday, May 21 at 2 p.m.: Cantina Laredo is back to share the flavors of modern Mexico City.

Entertainment for the whole family

Enjoy inflatables, face painting, activities and games for the whole family all weekend on the Family Fun Lawn located near the Addison Conference Centre and the Stone Cottage or visit the Talley Carnival for fun rides and midways games. Kids under 12 get in free throughout the weekend, and Sunday is a free family fun day for everyone at Taste Addison.

Family Fun Lawn hours:

Saturday: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m.

The World Affairs Council, in partnership with the Japan America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, will bring ongoing displays of origami and its lesser known artistic cousin kirigami to Taste Addison’s arts and crafts area on Sunday. The Council and the Society will also present the Dallas Kiyari Daiko ensemble to perform on traditional Japanese drums Sunday, May 21 at 2 p.m. on the Bowl Stage.

Additionally, visit The Marketplace at Taste Addison to browse through artisanal crafts, as well as food, and take home your favorite items.

General Admission (After May 15): $20/person (ages 12 and up) – Online and at the Gate
Sunday, May 21 is a FREE DAY for all ages.
Weekend Pass: $30 (This includes 3 days of admission and $10 in Tasty Bucks. $40 value. Ages 12 and up; limited quantities available) – Online Only
Children under 12 are FREE every day – no admission required.
