‘Tis the season to be jolly.
Well, sorta. The folks at HIDE think the spirit of the holidays should last year-round, so they’ve broken out the Christmas lights and invited Summer Santa to come to town.
On Thursday, July 20, from 8-11 p.m., the Deep Ellum hot spot will be decked out in Christmas décor and HIDE’s talented mixologists will be serving up two specialty cocktails – Naughty and Nice – created just for the event. Naughty guests can indulge in a bold and boozy drink while the Nice partygoers sip on a light and refreshing cocktail.
Everyone will have the opportunity to pose for pics on Summer Santa’s lap. And since no holiday party is complete without presents, Santa will be raffling off Christmas gifts throughout the event valued at up to $100.
“We’re always looking for new reasons to throw a party, so when the temperature began rising and we started longing for Christmas, we thought ‘why not celebrate a few months early?’” said “Saint” Nick Backlund, Proprietor of HIDE. “So this Thursday, HIDE will be in full Christmas mode – tinsel, lights, jolly good times with Santa, great food and awesome cocktails. So come by for the drinks, and stay for the fun!”
Admission to the event is free, so get in the spirit: It’s Christmas in July.
