Nothing screams Dallas than the opulent steakhouse. These are where big deals are conjured, first dates happen, anniversaries take place, and most importantly where people dine on large slabs of delicious beef. Well, not always the beef, steakhouses often have incredible seafood options. This is the case for all these events and even more at Del Frisco Double Eagle Steakhouse which is a stalwart in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.

You may find a Del Frisco across the country in some pretty fine digs including Pennsylvania where they are located in the historic Packard Building built in the 1920’s,. In Fort Worth Del Frisco is located in the famed Stockyards in a building once called Hell’s Half Acre, an area that contained saloons, brothels and gambling halls, and was rumored to be a favorite destination of Butch Cassidy, The Sundance Kid, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday.

Now you will find the latest rendition of the Texas steakhouse in Plano in the new Legacy West. This version is extravagant without being ostentatious. It is beautiful without taking away from the true star of the show: beef. Well, and fantastic wine.

A recent visit showcased the art of the steakhouse which is not only defined by its menu and fantastic wines, but by the depth of training and service that is found bountiful at Del Frisco. This version is truly a destination, and it is in Plano.

Enjoy the slideshow which gives a small look into the new Del Frisco’s and some highlighted dishes.
