Once an area bereft of pizza, with the small exception of Dominos, the Cedars area of Dallas (which is the area south of downtown, and include South Lamar) we now have Zalat. Soon a restaurateur from Plano who owns the familiar and popular Italian Bistro will open Southside Pizzeria at 1210 S Lamar which is directly across the street from Southside Ballroom and Gilley’s, and below Southside Flats
Look for a New York-style pizza and entrees from the Plano restaurant which include such Italian American staples such as chicken picatta, lobster ravioli and the like.
The restaurant will stay open late to serve concert-goers.
