From the restaurateurs who brought our favorite restaurant in Dallas on Henderson, Gemma, comes their long awaited Mediterranean send up, Sachet. Menu items include lamb, seafood, poultry, house-made pastas, legumes and grains, salads, and more than 20 vegetable-based meze, or starters, sourced from the best seasonal ingredients.
Chef-owner Stephen Rogers suggests that the menu little exotic but still approachable with plenty of vegetables, no butter or cream (olive oil instead), and much like he cooks at home for his own family.
Following one of our favorite restaurant trends, shared plates grilled or cooked in a spectacular Mugnaini wood-fired oven, custom-made in Tuscany and built in Sonoma, exclusively for Sachet. There is also a significant selection of Greek, Italian, Turkish, Israeli, Lebanese and Spanish wines. The bar will offer more than 30 wines by the glass, with 18 wines on tap including 2 sherry wines.
Enjoy this exclusive first look at many of the dishes you will enjoy at Sachet which is located at the Shops of Highland Park on Oak Lawn Avenue and opens this week, September 20th.
Pictures are great but a description would be even better
