The Joule Hotel will host the ninth annual Burgers & Burgundy event, presented by Celebrity Chef John Tesar and Terri Provencal, benefiting DIFFA/Dallas (The Dallas Chapter of Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS) at the Eye at The Joule on Friday, October 6, 2017.

Funds raised from the event will go towards DIFFA/Dallas’ mission of serving those who are affected by HIV/AIDS across North Texas. This year’s Event Chair, Phil Harrison, is joined by Allan Knight, long-time supporter and title sponsor of the event. “We are excited to continue the momentum this one-of-a-kind dining experience has created for the charity for almost a decade, where our supporters can have a wonderful time, knowing their contributions are going to agencies and people with the greatest need,” says Harrison of DIFFA/Dallas.

The burger and wine pairings will be prepared by Chef Tesar and renowned national and local chefs. The chefs have been tasked with the challenge to serve up the best burger sliders and complement them with the wine of their choice. Wine, beer, and specialty cocktails featuring Kruto Vodka will also be available. The chefs participating in this year’s event include:

“The group of chefs we’ve put together for this year’s Burgers & Burgundy really excites me,” comments Chef Tesar. “It’s very humbling to have such renowned local and national chefs come together for this event year after year to help support such an important cause here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.”

The night will also include the reveal of the DIFFA/Dallas 2017-2018 Style Council Ambassadors and this season’s House of DIFFA theme. Style Council Ambassadors serve as DIFFA/Dallas representatives in the community during their 2017-2018 season. They are charged with the task of helping DIFFA/Dallas raise awareness about the organization’s cause, as well as continue efforts in the education and prevention of HIV/AIDS throughout North Texas. Ambassadors are asked to donate their time to various AIDS Service Organizations across North Texas to become better educated about those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Along with their time, Ambassadors are crucial in aiding DIFFA/Dallas fundraising efforts.

Burgers & Burgundy takes place Friday, October 6 from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Eye at the Joule. The night will be accompanied with entertainment by DJ Steffi Burns. Tickets for Burgers & Burgundy are $150 per person and are limited due to venue capacity constraints. To purchase tickets please visit DIFFA or call 214-748-8580.
