Leading conservation non-profit organization in the state, Audubon Texas, is pleased to announce the launch of Dining on the Prairie, a new dinner series hosted by Trinity River Audubon Center. The series includes three dinners with chef-inspired menus,
enticing wines, music and fine dining amidst a spectacular view of the Great Trinity Forest.
The first dinner in the series, Songbird Supper is on October 15, 2017, featuring Owner and Chef Janice Provost of Parigi; followed by Lovebird’s Dinner on February 10, 2018, with Chef Anastacia Quinones of Oddfellows; concluding with Hops and Hogs on June 15, 2018, with Chef Peja Krstic of Mot Hai Ba. Each Chef will design and coordinate the meal, working closely with the center to create seasonal menus inspired by the natural surroundings. Audubon is grateful for the partnerships with Whole Foods, Rosewood Ranches and Bolsa Mercado ensuring each dinner is memorable for guests.

Dining on the Prairie dinner series builds on the success of Trinity River’s annual fall dinner, Songbird Supper. “The experience of dining on the prairie, with seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients is such a special way to connect guests to our mission of conserving our rich biodiversity for birds and all wildlife,” said Lucy Hale, Director of Trinity River Audubon Center. “Our friends at Bolsa were fully supportive when we decided to expand to a three-dinner series, and we are so fortunate to be able to connect with Dallas’ world-class chef community through our partnership with Bolsa.
