Since 1972, The Grape Restaurant on Greenville Avenue has flourished as one of the city’s favorite classic bistros as well as an East Dallas dining destination.   Chef/Owner Brian C. Luscher and wife Courtney mark the 45th anniversary of The Grape with special events throughout October.

Former Grape chefs Sarah Chastain and Danyele McPherson join Chef Brian in the kitchen on October 5th to kick off the celebratory month with a “Blast from the Past” wine dinner. Each chef will showcase a course paired with wines hand-selected by Brandon Kelley of Southern Glazers.  Cost is $75 per person and festivities begin at 6:30 p.m.

Neiman Marcus at NorthPark Center hosts Chef Brian in the kitchen for a four-course, pop-up wine dinner on October 12 with Hamilton Russell Vineyards and 44 Farms.  Cost is $95 and tickets are available at RVC.

On October 19 Chef Brian and WhistlePig Ambassador Doug Ward  create a 4-course menu to compliment unique, aged whiskies from the WhistlePig distillery including the 10 Year, Farmstock and 12 Year.  Cost is $85 per person.

The Grape officially marks the 45th anniversary and wraps up the month long celebration October 26-28 with a three-course Chefs’ Tasting Menu all weekend long for $45 in addition to the a la carte menu.

Seating is limited for special events and reservations are recommended. Prices are exclusive of tax, gratuity and beverages.   Located at 2808 Greenville Avenue, The Grape is open for dinner nightly at 5:30pm and Sunday Brunch.   For reservations call 214-828-1981 or visit the website at The Grapes .
