Urban Taco, a modern Mexican restaurant by Del Sur Restaurant Group will officially open its new and larger location tomorrow Wednesday, October 18 within Mockingbird Station in suite 105.

The new spot (on the far northeast corner inside the complex and adjacent to the main theater entrance) allows for more interior space, an updated look and large patio.

Founder, Markus Pinyero explains, “We have worked hard to keep Dallas diners excited and interested in our tacos. After ten years in business, we felt it was perfect timing to gain more square footage and add a patio but stay in the same area. Mockingbird Station has proven to be a successful location for us. We are grateful to our customers and look forward to the future.”

Mockingbird Station was the first Urban Taco location. McKinney Avenue opened in 2010.

In 2007, Urban Taco introduced Dallas to the traditional foods and distinctive flavors of Mexican taquerias. To encourage sampling, the menu is divided into categories with numerous selections: salsas, ceviches, quesos and guacamoles. Additional menu sections include: ensaladas, sopas, as well as signature taqueria options. By visiting his native Mexico several times a year, Pineyro ensures Urban Taco’s food and drink remains true to its roots while also continually incorporating the trends influencing Mexican food and culture.
