One of our favorite joys of the season are spent devouring wonderful pastries, and  the good people at Bisous Bisous in Uptown provide the perfect holiday gift (and hostess gift) in their macaron tower. These splendid towers are as delicious as they are beautiful. The towers range from 4-tier (45 macarons) to 10-tier (220 macarons) with prices starting at $99. You will be the hit of any party with these beautiful displays that are truly edible.

Not edible but certainly exciting for those wanting a big night, or fun on a budget the Dallas Mavericks make wonderful gifts with ticket prices under $20. Go big and secure a suite for the evening enjoying the staff caterers, or sit with the population and chow down on a burger. Anything in between will bring joy to your friends or family. Dirk not included. Also, find the gift shop accessible from Victory Plaza open daily.

Dude, Sweet Chocolate makes every gift list in Dallas for many reasons. Consider the quality, imagination and the fact it is so Dallas as a reason why you should be giving delicacies such as Crack in the Box, Albatross Fudge and Black Mole Toffee as reasons to pay one of the DFW locations. But also find great holiday gift boxes starting at $45. Don’t forget some of the boozier selections such as the Macallan Modern #2 truffle, made with Macallan 12 year, Herbsaint and slow gin. Also, owner Katherine Clapner is Dallas’ favorite pastry goddess.

Experience Dallas’ coolest holiday tradition with a festive stroll through the gardens at the Dallas Arboretum and revel in The 12 Days of Christmas Exhibit, twelve breathtaking gazebos depicting each day in the beloved Christmas carol. Each gazebo is encased in glass and extravagantly decorated on all sides to provide a dramatic, three-dimensional experience that adds to its “music box” quality, depicting the old English carol from the Victorian era. Watch these magical scenes come to life in each gazebo. Be dazzled by the partridge in a pear tree, discover the hidden creatures hidden within eight maids a-milking and sway along with the “nine ladies dancing” gazebo. This will make an excellent gift for anyone on your list.

molto

Located in Highland Park Village in Dallas, Texas, Molto Formaggio offers a true European shopping experience and specializes in exquisite gourmet cheeses from around the world.  They also offer boutique wines to pair with the cheese, exclusive gourmet food products, gift baskets, and trays for entertaining.

The gift shop at the Dallas Museum of Art has plenty to offer with fun items starting at $5. Look for art, fun toys, clothing and more. Also, a gift of membership is always appreciated as are tickets to the Arts and Letters series.

One of our favorite local distilleries would make an excellent gift for locals and friends living out of state. Witherspoon in Old Town Lewisville has the goods waiting for you. Choose from a myriad of fine whiskeys including their Double Cask Project which is a smooth corn-heavy bourbon, and the full-bodied and powerful flavors imparted by the port (Portugal) and sherry (Spain) casks. We also enjoy their sultry 100 proof whiskey and the very giftable Bourbon Cream.

Happy holidays from your friends at Crave. Feel free to add your favorite Dallas or Fort Worth fun gift ideas below in comments!
