Valentine’s Day swooped up on us quickly and we have a nice list of dining options. We think one of these will be ideal for you and your special Valentine.
Truluck’s: In addition to their regular menu, Truluck’s will double-down on love with table-side photos, rose petals on tables, live entertainment, truffles, and more. Reservations are required for dining in the upstairs dining room, and first-come-first-serve in the bar downstairs. Enjoy a fist full of crab!
Shell Shack: More crab! Shell Shack is offering dine-in guests a FREE bottle of champagne with any combo. Combos feed from two to six people, and are perfect for group outings. They include:
The Boss: 2 catfish filets and 8 fried shrimp. Served with fries and hushpuppies. $22.99
The VIP: 1lb snow crab, 1lb boiled shrimp, 2 corns, 1 potato and 1 sausage. All served with fries and hushpuppies. $42.99
Date Night: 1lb snow crab, 1lb boiled shrimp, 1lb king crab, 4 corns, 2 potatoes and 2 sausages. Served with fries and hushpuppies. $84.99
The Heavyweight: 2lbs snow crab, 2lbs boiled shrimp, 1lb king crab, 2 catfish filets, 8 fried shrimp, 8 corns, 4 potatoes and 4 sausages. Served with fries and hushpuppies; feeds 5-6 people. $156.99
Sushi Marquee: Frisco’s fun-loving Japanese restaurant is celebrating Valentine’s Day all week long (Feb 11 – 18). Their regular menu will be complemented by a champagne and chocolate-covered strawberry upgrade:
$30 for two glasses of Prosecco and two chocolate-covered strawberries
$50 for a bottle of Prosecco and two chocolate-covered strawberries
$150 for a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and two chocolate-covered strawberries
Lavendou: This marvelous French-inspired restaurant has a prix fixe menu with plenty of selections including starters like cream of wild mushroom soup with port, a terrine of duck livers with a confit of figs. Look for main courses such as their braised lamb shank and filet of beef bordelaise. Sweet ending selections are vast but look for Gateau Opera and mixed berries in pastry with a Chantilly cream. Look to their website for reservations and a full menu with prices.
Sea Breeze: The seafood restaurant is offering a much broader menu of seafood specialties peppered with aphrodisiac taste treats. In addition to their regular menu, on February 14, Sea Breeze will offer diners a full array of seafood specialties, including:
Grilled Octopus with sweet pepper tomato broth
Oysters Rockefeller with spinach, parmesan & Pernod hollandaise
Flounder sautéed with shrimp, artichoke, tomato & basil
Grilled farm-raised halibut with English pea puree and mint radish salad
Blackened red snapper with red pepper tomato jam
Cedar planked steelhead trout with herb salad and white balsamic vinaigrette
Lobster Thermidor; lobster & mushrooms, in mustard cream sauce with Gruyere crust, Spring medley; asparagus, artichoke hearts, sugar snap peas and much, much more.
Five Sixty: The iconic revolving restaurant is offering a five-course prix fixe menu for $135 per person. Optional wine pairing is an additional $30. The Asian-inspired menu will have aphrodisiacs built in to each course and will also have an amuse and intermezzo on top of the five courses. It will be available in lieu of our regular tasting menu from February 10th through February 17th and will be the only menu available on Wednesday the 14th.
Ferris Wheelers: Tell that special someone that they’ve GOAT your heart this Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a Valentine’s themed yoga class while the friendly (and oh so cute!) pygmy goats run around, under, and over you! Plus, stick around for goat playtime, drinks, and delicious BBQ. Legacy Hall: If you’re like most Americans, then you’re looking for a no-frills Valentine’s Day that takes the pressure out of the equation so you can simply enjoy the day with your friends, family or significant other. Join Legacy Hall for a casual evening that has something for everyone and bonus – no reservations are required.
Pop-up Flower Shop Monday through Wednesday – The Oh Sh*t Flower Shop for last minute floral purchases
Legacy Hall will be playing sappy movies all day on the big screen. Stop by for favorites such as Sleepless in Seattle, Casablanca and The Notebook.
Perry’s Steakhouse: Special three course meal featuring soup or salad, an entrée and a dessert (details of offering on flyer)
Price is $59.95 (5 p.m. and earlier) or $74.95 (5:45 p.m. and later) Note: Reservations are required and limited to two-hour time period. A credit card is needed to make reservations and a $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made after Feb. 12.

Lawry’s: Located right off the Dallas Parkway, Lawry’s is serving its signature dinner experience complete with their spinning bowl salad plus California cut of prime rib (or seasonal fish) with mashed potatoes and either creamed spinach or corn plus Yorkshire pudding plus a dessert to share. Priced at $125/couple (plus tax + gratuity), the three-course dinner also includes two glasses of Mondavi wine to cheers to the evening.
Meddlesome Moth: Meddlesome Moth celebrates St. Valentine’s Day with a special 4-course prix fixe menu, with choices in each course, crafted by Executive Chef Robbie Lewis.
The menu has plenty of options such as a duo of oysters, a three bacon and marble potato clam chowder, New York Strip, Miso Black Cod, and a slew of desserts.
