Good Local Markets 2018 Season Begins March 10th

Dallas’ favorite all-local farmers market – Good Local Markets launches the 2018 season on March 10 at the White Rock locale (9150 Garland Road).  A 2nd location at Paul Quinn College (3837 Simpson Stuart Road) takes place every Thursday beginning on March 15.

Every Good Local Markets vendor grows or makes what they sell with no distribution.  GLM vendors offer produce, artisanal foods and handcrafted goods, all grown or made within 150 miles of Dallas.

Vendors including Highway 19, Chandler Family Farm, Caliper Farm to market, Lonesome Lady Ranch, Barefoot Baker, Gardeners in Community Development, Naturally Curly Cook, 24 Atoms Coffee, Noble Coyote Coffee, BZ Wicks, Earrings By Eryn, Sissy’s Soaps, Yim’s Foods, Hippos and Hashbrowns, Larken Farm, Okelly Woodwork, Paul Quinn Farm, Kitchen Pride Mushroom and more are lined up for the 2018 season.

“We are so excited to be in our 11th season and look forward to seeing new neighbors as well as our loyal clientele shopping for fresh, healthy fare,” says Casey Cutler, Good Local Markets director.  “We have a great line-up of special events in the works including Earth Day, 5 de Mayo, Chicken Day and the return of the popular vegan markets in coordination with VMarkets and the annual Pie Contest.”

Good Local Market at White Rock is held every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Good Local Markets at Paul Quinn College are held every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with hosted farm tours during business hours.
