Good Local Markets hosts a Vegan Pop-Up Market on Saturday, October 13 (8am-1pm) featuring over 20 vegan-only vendors in addition to the weekly growers, ranchers and artisans everyone knows and loves.
Vegan offerings from 5 mile Chocolate, Good Earth Cheese, Lavish Clean Intentions Vegan Soaps, Nature’s Comfort Foods, Nature’s Plate and Reverie Bakeshop as well as GLM local farmers with fresh produce including Demases Farms, Wolfsong Farm, Chandler Family Farm, Restoration Farm, Gardeners in Community Development and Highway 19 Farm will showcase their vegan-only offerings at the Saturday market.
Every Good Local Markets vendor grows or makes what they sell with no distributors, offering produce, artisanal foods and handcrafted goods, vegan and non-vegan all produced within 150 miles of Dallas.
Good Local Market at White Rock Farmer’s Market (9150 Garland Road) is held every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Good Local Markets at Paul Quinn Farmer’s Market (3837 Simpson Stuart Road) are held every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Good Local Markets is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization which supports local farmers, ranchers and artisans by providing a public space to sell fruits, vegetables, cheese, meats, hand-crafted foods and other products while serving thousands of residents looking for healthy and locally sourced foods. Additionally, Good Local Markets offers the Lone Star food stamp program, Love Your Farmer volunteer days, educational programs and workshops.
