Shayna’s Place, the popular sandwich and coffee shop at Sylvan Thirty in West Dallas, has opened a new neighborhood outpost for its wares: Shayna’s Annex, located at 1605 N. Beckley Avenue (at Greenbriar Lane, in the space formerly occupied by Local Press & Brew).

“Folks visiting or working in the Methodist Hospital district, as well as our neighbors commuting up Beckley Avenue each morning, have a convenient new spot to grab a coffee, smoothie and a quick bite,” said owner Lou Olerio.

Shayna’s Annex serves an abbreviated menu from its nearby Shayna’s Place location, including Noble Coyote Coffee, hot and cold brew coffee drinks, a full breakfast menu, smoothies, pre-made tacos from Tacodeli, soft-serve ice cream, Holy Kombucha on tap and “grab & go” salads and sandwiches. Olerio plans to expand the menu to meet customer demand.

The indoor space, walk-up window and patio is open daily 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Olerio says that the window may continue to operate after 3 p.m. once Shayna’s Annex is fully operational.
