Mexican Sugar Updates Brunch

Mexican Sugar, the Mexican restaurant with a Latin-inspired twist has new brunch items on the menu including entrees, sides, brunch cocktails and a sangria bar.

Mexican Sugar boasts over 130 tequilas and guests can get a taste of this collection in the new brunch cocktails. New cocktails include the Choco Antigua ($13) – Patrón Añejo Mexican Sugar Barrel Select, Banhez Mezcal, Piloncillo Syrup, Mexican Chocolate Bitters; Prickly Pear Mule ($11) – Espolòn Blanco, Prickly Pear, Lime, Fever-Tree Ginger Beer, Fever-Tree Club Soda; and Guava Pisco Frio ($12) – Pisco, Guava, Lime, Agave.

Enjoy brunch entrée additions including the Brunch Quesadilla ($12) – Scrambled Eggs, Chile Spiced Bacon, Mixed Cheese, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, Mexican Crema on a Jalapeño Tortilla and the Arroz Con Leche ($7) – Rice Pudding, Mexican Canela, Tres Leches, Golden Raisins, Brown Sugar, Fresh Strawberries, Mangos. Sides or “al lado” have also been added including Farm Egg ($2), Chile Spiced Bacon ($4), Tajin Spiced Seasonal Fruit ($4), Grilled Sugar Snap Peas ($6).

Fajitas are now available on the brunch menu with options of Mesquite Grilled Chicken ($17), Adobo Grilled Carne Asada ($25), Grilled Chicken & Carne Asada Combo ($24), Grilled Gulf Shrimp ($20), and Lobster Tail & Slow Roasted Beef Tenderloin ($42). 

To accompany Mexican Sugar’s brunch items, the restaurant has rolled out new sangria flavors as well as a Sangria Bar where guests can dress their own sangriasSangria flavors include White – Lunardi Pinot Grigio, Elderflower Liqueur, Peach, Pineapple, Club Soda; and Blackberry – Portillo Malbec, Tuaca, Blackberry, Lemon, Simple Syrup. A seasonal flavor will also be available. All flavors including the sangria bar are $8 by the glass or by the $28 by the pitcher.

Weekend brunch is offered at Mexican Sugar every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The menu additions are now available.
