It is time we make the rounds for brunch once again and there are so many options in Dallas which seems to be the brunch capital of our nation. We certainly take those long, leisurely hours sipping mimosas and bloody marys very serious in our city. It is a fine way to catch up with friends, shake of the revelry from the previous evening, and push the reset button from the previous week.
Mesero is a brunch paradise. The menu is quite extensive, and the libations are on point. With familiar flavors we made our way through the menu with little effort. Everything sounded like something we might want to sample, so we not only ordered but possibly over-ordered.

Consider the Breakfast Tostada as a nice beginning to this adventure. Look for a sunny-side up egg, chorizo, salsa roja, queso fresco, black beans, with mesero papitas on a tostada shell. And one of our favorites, and certainly the staff choice is the Mesero Scramble made with three eggs (whites available upon request), choice of cheddar, chive, tomato, jalapeño, chorizo, brisket or bacon, with mesero papitas and black beans.
