Texas Twinkies, the BBQ delicacy made famous by Hutchins BBQ, are making their nationwide debut. The North Texas BBQ joint’s most requested item is a large jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and Hutchins’ famous brisket, which is then wrapped in thick-cut bacon. Each Twinkie is smoked and kissed by the grill for maximum flavor. Texas Twinkies can now be shipped by the dozen ($65 per dozen) to anywhere in the United States via the Hutchins BBQ online shop.
Since being introduced to the menu in 2014, Hutchins regularly sells out of thousands of Texas Twinkies every weekend when they were only available in person at both Hutchins locations. Through the online shop, Texas Twinkies can be ordered to arrive at your door vacuum sealed and semi-frozen for reheating whenever you’re ready for a taste of Texas at home. Additionally, in order to meet the fan demand for Twinkies at Hutchins, they are now available for dine-in or takeout every day of the week at the Frisco location.
Texas Twinkies, along with all other smoked meats available through the online shop, will be shipped on Tuesday mornings each week. Customers can expect delivery two days from the ship date. Other BBQ favorites, including brisket, sausage, sauces, rubs and apparel, are also available for nationwide shipping through the Hutchins BBQ online shop. While Hutchins’ McKinney location is currently closed due to a recent fire, Hutchins BBQ’s Frisco location is open for dine-in or takeout, with call ahead curbside pickups as well as drive-through service.
