It’s a Good Day at White Rock Farmer’s Market

Dallas’ favorite producer only farmers market organization – Good Local Markets returns with White Rock Farmers Market on Saturday, March 13. Held every Saturday through December 18 from 8am-noon (9150 Garland Road), Good Local Markets showcases all-local produce, meats and eggs, bread and pastries, honey, pickles, jams and specialty foods as well as local artisans featuring handmade crafts.

Recently launched Lakewood Village Farmers Market is held every Sunday from 9am-1pm (6424 E. Mockingbird Lane).

White Rock Local Market vendors include Along Came Tamales, Bohemian Shepherdess, Chandler Family Farm, Demases Farm, Empire Bakery, Highway 19 Farm, Hippos and Hashbrowns, Jersey Girls Milk, Lost Ruby Ranch, Lonesome Lady Ranch, Juha Ranch, Texas Honeybee Guild, Leila’s Bakery, Rowlett Coffee Roasters, Texas Fungus, Texas Runza Kings and several others local artisans.

“Lakewood Village Farmers Market launched just a few weeks ago,” says Casey Cutler, executive director of Good Local Markets. “We were overwhelmed by the attendance and support of our all-local farmers and artisans. Of course we continue to take all safety precautions necessary. Please wear a mask!”

All Good Local Vendors are certified local, no resellers no distributors. Good Local Markets requires that vendors come from 150 mile radius of Dallas and must grow or make their own products. Good Local staff even visits each farm and ranch to ensure locally grown and ethically raised.

Good Local Markets is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization whose mission is to support local farmers and ranchers, incubate small businesses, increase food access, strengthen the local food movement, and create healthy communities
