After two successful installments of the Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel’s summer social series in partnership with MELT Ice Creams and Toro Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval, the downtown Fort Worth hotel is ramping up the event for the month of August in honor of every Fort Worthian’s favorite foodie event, DFW Restaurant Week.
On August 18, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, guests of the networking event can take part in the usual complimentary scoops of MELT Ice Creams and $5 house margaritas from Toro Toro. However, the special August edition will also honor DFW Restaurant Week sponsors, Garrison Brothers Distillery, with a complimentary live bourbon tasting led by Charlie Garrison, National Sales Director, and handmade Churros from Toro Toro’s DFW Restaurant Week menu.
Toro Toro Fort Worth is participating in DFW Restaurant Week with a special four-course, prix-fixe menu for $49. A portion of every menu sold will be donated in partnership with Lena Lope, a local non-profit dedicated to improving child well-being throughout Tarrant County. The menu, featuring dishes like Sweet Corn Empanadas with chimichurri, avocado puree and manchego, Cusco Chicken with mashed potato, broccolini and salsa criolla, Churros featuring cajeta sauce and goat cheese, and more, will be available until the end of DFW Restaurant Week, September 5th.
