Angel Envy’s Dinner at Whiskey Cake September 28th

Whiskey Cake’s Plano restaurant is hosting a unique six-course pairing dinner featuring Angel’s Envy Distillery. On Sept. 28 at 7 p.m., guests can enjoy a delicious evening of food and craft cocktails featuring this special prix-fixe menu.

First Course

Lamb croquette with house blend panko and ricotta, paired with “On The Lam!,” a cocktail mixed with bourbon, apricot liqueur, basil and blanc vermouth.

Second Course

Caribbean ube coconut soup with pickled carrot and habanero slaw, paired with a straight pour of Angel’s Envy Rye.

Third Course

Tropical watercress salad topped with mango, shallot, avocado and plantain chips, paired with “The Transatlantic,” a cocktail mixed with bourbon, walnut reduction, orange and mango.

Fourth Course

El cubano, traditional style, Esmerelda’s Local Pan, Hunn’s Local Pickles and fried plantains, paired with a straight pour of Angel’s Envy Bourbon.

Fifth Course

Jerk prawns, yucca mash, jerk butter and warm Tree Bean salad, paired with “Bermuda Triangle,” a cocktail mixed with rye, sweetened ginger vermouth and pineapple Campari.

Dessert

Toto Cake – First Bite Bakery Local Caribbean Coconut Cake, paired with “Not In Kansas Anymore,” a cocktail mixed with coconut-washed rye, almond simple and Aztec chocolate bitters.
