CraveDFW Happy Hour November 4th!

CraveDFW has been running for a dozen years bringing you exciting event news, concerts, great restaurants and more. This is exactly what we planned that many years ago as we sat in a taco shop devising the name and what CraveDFW should be all about. We wanted the reviews to reflect a certain positive note, and they have. We only write about restaurants we love, and leaving the rest for the vultures to chew on – not to say we won’t mention a dish that doesn’t quite make the grade. Millions of reads, multiple thousand stories, and plenty of dining later we outlasted most everybody. We even had a blast with our radio show and food tours.

We attempt to bring you beautiful photography with food presented as you will receive it, and do not ask restaurants to do special set ups with fake dishes. It is what it is, and we’ve gotten pretty good at this. We often recruit the talents of Joey Stewart who does amazing work and requests reservations for dinner as early as possible to catch the best light. So Joey is out making films and commercials, then performs CraveDFW chores. What an amazing talent! We speak (weekly) how to make CraveDFW better and look for the sparkling new hot spots, and the tried and true standards.

This coming Thursday, November the 4th, we invite everyone to Standard Pour in Uptown Dallas where we will celebrate all that is Dallas. Meet Steven and Joey, have a cocktail or two (or a mocktail), enjoy some complimentary light bites and great conversation from 5 to 7:30. It is extremely informal, come as you are. If you have a restaurant stories to tell, we would love to hear them.

Interesting note: We held a happy hour at Standard Pour BEFORE they first opened originally. You were the fist to enjoy this amazing gastropub before anyone. The fantastic talent that has come from Standard Pour would amaze you, from bar staff to chefs. Mind boggling.

We will also have a free raffle for some fun prizes! We are working on some music, so stay lively for that.

We would enjoy meeting the names we’ve read for years an your company will be missed if unable to attend.

Not required but we would appreciate a FB sign up.
