After a 2 year hiatus, The Adolphus announces the long-awaited return of The French Room Bar with a provisionary experience, Bar Lilly.
The French Room Bar is now adorned in an abundance of flowers and whimsical décor, and is open now through the end of July.
The Bar Lilly experience was inspired by the beer baroness herself, Lilly Anheuser, who was the wife of Adolphus Busch, the co-founder of The Adolphus who built the hotel as a passion project in the early 20th century.
Bar Lilly’s menu features cultivated cocktails, and a new bar menu to pair perfectly with the beautiful backdrop of the floral installation.
The cocktail menu includes refreshing creations such as In The Tall Grass – G4 Premium Tequila, Chili, Green Chartreuse, Cucumber; Fleur-de-Lis – 1908 Empress Gin, Lillet Rose, Raspberry; Tiki State of Mind – Flor de Cana 18 year, Batavia Arrack, Velvet Falernum, Guava; Edelweiss – Sweet Gwendoline Gin, Sauternes, Comoz Vermouth, Lillet Blanc, Thyme; The Goldrush – Honeyrush Washed Bourbon, Fresh Lemon, Honey; and L’Heure de Pointe – Jean Marc XO Vodka, Bourbon Cream, Licor 43, Cold Brew.
Additionally classic cocktails such as Kir Royale, House Martini, Jungle Bird, Sazerac and Vieux Carré will also be on the menu.
Befitting of The French Room space, an elevated wine, bubbly and beer list will also be available. A bar bites menu will be available soon.
Every Thursday from 7-10PM, La Pompe, a local French band, will entertain guests with their live music in The French Room salon.
