Zalat Pizza, the cult-favorite pizza concept, will make its return to Southside in a new location on the street level retail shopping area of Southside Flats at 1210 Botham Jean Blvd, Suite 1118, Dallas, TX 75215 on Tuesday, July 5.
The Zalat brand is known for pushing the envelope on traditional pizza recipes as well as continuing to be bold and inventive. All pizzas are handmade using scratch ingredients, including their dough for the perfect NYC-style crust and house made sauce with oven-roasted Roma tomatoes and fresh basil.
Named Nation’s Restaurant News “2021 Hot Concepts” and QSR40/40 in the same year, Founder and CEO, Khanh Nguyen explains, “One of the things we’ve become known for is elevating even the common pepperoni pizza with our Pepperoni Masterclass, with a double serving of 100% beef pepperoni, oregano, cracked black pepper and chopped garlic. Beyond the basics, however, we offer bold and inventive designs such as the Nashville Hot Chicken & Pickles, Pho Shizzle, Elote, The Sweet Revenge, Pineapple Express, and more. An equally famous and crave-able must- have is our trademarked sauce, Sirancha– a combination of Sriracha and ranch dressing to create the perfect mind-blowing pizza dipping sauce! Our dipping sauce has a following of its own.”
The new location will offer late-night hours, have limited seating, and serve takeout and delivery through Zalat’s website or app, and delivery via most third-party delivery apps.
Nguyen says, “We are looking forward to coming back to the Southside area to serve our craveable pizza combinations. This new location is centrally located in the area and offers late-night hours perfect for our night owl customers.”
Zalat Southside will be open Sunday -Thursday 11am-12am, Friday – Saturday 11am-4am.
