Autumn Mountainside Retreat @ Auberge’s Primland with Brand-New Seasonal Offerings

As summer comes to a close, travelers are eagerly planning autumn getaways and more than 81% of Americans are opting for domestic destinations with an emphasis on culinary experiences, activities, and scenery (according to a recent survey by TripAdvisor). This fall, Primland, Auberge Resorts Collection has it all for guests craving the great outdoors with a taste of luxury.

In the heart of Virginia’s bucolic Blue Ridge Mountains, Primland offers an elevated, back-to-nature retreat complete with 12,000 acres of unspoiled wilderness, a variety of spacious and luxurious accommodations (including picturesque Tree Houses for some of the best fall foliage views!), farm-to-table cuisine served in casual and fine dining settings, rejuvenating spa facilities, a championship-caliber golf course, endless outdoor activities, and so much more. This season, guests of all ages will delight in brand-new activities and thoughtful seasonal highlights, below—

  • Scotch & Cigars 101 Workshop: On September 17, guests can enjoy the property’s historic Tobacco Barn and imbibe Glenmorangie Scotch whilst enjoying local Virginia retailer, Blacksburg Cigars. In this workshop, guests will learn that there’s a fine art to experiencing Scotch and cigars—whether pairing the two or savoring them separately. Available for adult guests (21+) for $125pp.
  • Tap into Creativity: Unleash your inner artist and recreate Primland’s breathtaking and colorful landscape with private Painting Classes this fall. Whether enjoying a quiet moment to oneself or with the entire family, Primland’s private 2-hour, artist-guided plein air painting classes offer a creative outlet for all guests.
  • Autumn Explorer’s Club: Youngest guests can take to the great outdoors with activities and clinics that are engaging and educational through the resort’s Explorer’s Club for Kids. Children play the day away with activities such as: an in-rink experience with Primland’s horses, yard games, arts & crafts, archery or pond fishing, and more. Available Mondays and Thursdays from 9am-2pm and Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm-9pm, children will enjoy experiences guided by Primland’s dedicated staff while parents enjoy a much-needed respite.
