Vidorra to Toast to the Dead

Vidorra invites everyone to ‘brindar por el Día de Los Muertos’ and celebrate the Mexican holiday from Friday, Oct. 28 to Tuesday, Nov. 1 with a series of drinks, decorations and live music.

The ‘Cocina de Mexico’ is introducing the following signature Day of the Dead cocktails to help guests get in the spirit of the season, each for $10:

  • Ofrenda de Sangre: Made with Volcan De Mi Tierra Tequila Blanco, triple sec, cranberry, lime, simple syrup, Chateau d’Esclans ‘The Beach by Whispering Angel’ Rosé, garnished with eyeball candies and served in a skeleton hand glass.
  • Para los Difuntos: Made with Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Velvet Falernum, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave syrup, Aztec chocolate bitters, garnished with skull candies and served in a Don Julio Día de los Muertos mug.
  • Flor de Muerto: Made with Volcan De Mi Tierra Tequila Blanco, hibiscus syrup, white grapefruit juice, lime juice, Squirt, garnished with marigold and served in a skeleton hand glass.

The Alebrijes Flight allows guests to enjoy samples of all three fantastical cocktails in skeleton hand glasses for $28 throughout the five-day celebration. From Friday, Oct. 28 to Saturday, Oct. 29, a DJ will be playing at 10 p.m., and bottle service will be available.

Veuve Clicquot Champagne and Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut can be purchased for $125 each, and Volcan De Mi Tierra Tequila Blanco bottles can be purchased for $300 after 10 p.m. For the last day of the festivities, a mariachi band will be performing during dinner service from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
