The Heart of Dallas” with Chef Stephen Pyles and Recording Artist WT Greer III

Avondale Group, North Texas’ leading retailer of luxury, performance automobiles announced the launch of its Season 1 finale episode of INTERSECTIONS, an Avondale Originals Series and Podcast. The finale will premiere on Tuesday, February 16, 2022. Titled “The Heart of Dallas,” the episode showcases Stephan Pyles, legendary chef, restaurateur, author and philanthropist, along with WT Greer III, singer/songwriter and musician who, like Avondale’s Founders, both got their start in the Oak Lawn neighborhood of Dallas in the ‘80s.

Fireside Pies Opening in East Dallas Nov 19

Fireside Pies is set to open its doors and start serving its signature wood-fired pizza to guests in Lake Highlands on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Located at 6750 Abrams Road, Ste. 105 in the Creekside Shopping Center, the new 4,200-square-foot restaurant will celebrate with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Lake Highlands Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. on grand opening day. Continue reading

FW Fireside Pies To Be Renamed

Fireside Pies has always made a pretty mean pizza. Fireside opened its first pizza restaurant in 2004 and is locally owned by Consilient Restaurant Group, the same group that has assembled a bevy of beautiful restaurants across Dallas and Fort Worth. Think Victor Tango, Hibiscus, the Porch, and more recently, CBD Provisions and A F & B. All quality restaurants run properly.

We stopped in Fireside’s Fort Worth store located on Crockett last evening and was quite surprised how very differently they run that restaurant from the others.    Continue reading
