A Sneak Peek At Frisco Gun Club Menus

Nearly one year ago we broke the story of the enormous gun club opening in Frisco. The private membership club was said to offer luxury amenities and fine dining. They held true to the promise in every way, and is scheduled to host a grand opening December 6 and 7, 2013. More recently the Frisco Gun Club announced that they secured mega-chef Scot Romano as executive, and he has been working on his menu since.

On the new executive gig Romano said, “This feels like the right fit for me. It’s all about balance. I look forward to impressing our VIP members daily in an intimate dining atmosphere and still being in contact with everyone else in a sophisticated casual cafe… as a chef and a hunter, it’s like a dream job.”

Today craveDFW secured a sneak preview of the menu Romano has been working on along with a few tasty photos.

There Have Been A Few Moves In Dallas Hospitality

There have been a few moves recently in the Dallas hospitality world and we are happy to report on a few of these today.

Do you miss Charlie Palmer Maître d’hôtel Enam Chowdhury? I was happy when I saw him working the room at Bistro 31 in Highland Park Village this weekend. Enam is a wonderful host and a perfect addition to the restaurant.

Looking for ex-Oak exec chef Jason Maddy? We spotted him in the Cedars Social kitchen this weekend. No one has confirmed his status as of yet, but it was good to see him none the less.   Continue reading

Frisco Gun Club To Open Summer 2013

What happens when you combine fine dining with your favorite pistol? No, it’s not a scene out of the Old West, instead it is Frisco Gun Club CEO Christian Putnam’s brainchild of luxury gun ownership. The club will offer 40 indoor shooting lanes, private members only lounge with upscale dining and meeting rooms, and a 100-person training/conference room. Continue reading
