Frisco is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, predicted to outsize Plano in the 2020s. One needs little confirmation of the big-city intentions than a visit to the new Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille just opened in Stonebriar Centre (on the east side of Parkwood just south of Gaylord Pkwy. Ramen Pop Up With A Side Of Cocktail Throw Down

Monday, December 23, 2013,  Máté Hartai, Omar Yeefoon and Justin Holt will offer a true Japanese experience of craftsmanship. The three work to perfect the perfect serve of Whisky and Ramen. The whisky’s that will be served are Nikka whisky and Suntory Yamazaki. Justin Holt has been perfecting his spin on Tonkotsu style ramen which uses a pork and chicken bone broth and alkaline noodles.

Texas Whiskey Tasting Is Just One Week After Turkey Day

Have you noticed that not just wineries have been multiplying in this state – distillers have too. Among them, whiskey makers. Look Cinema (the Addison cinema that shows movies to to the chomping backbeat of patrons eating food from Nick and Sam’s Grill) has come up with a good idea. Dallas Whiskey and Fine Spirits Festival Nov 23

The Dallas Whiskey and Fine Spirits Festival returns for its second year on Saturday, November 23 at 7 p.m. The roaring 20’s-themed party will be held at Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG), 1807 Ross Avenue in Dallas.

Connoisseurs of fine spirits can sample some of the world’s best liquors, including whiskey, scotch, and brandy, as well as other top shelf liquors.  In addition, guests will sample fine foods by the culinary teams from Chamberlain’s Steak and Chophouse, Whiskey Cake, The Capital Grille, and many more.    Continue reading
