The World Food Championships is back in Dallas, and this year, at a new location. This year’s WFC will take place from November 5 through 7 at Fair Park, allowing room for over 1500 chefs to go head to head for cash prizes.
The last World Food Championships took place in 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Although the competition was expected to return to Dallas in 2020, COVID shut those plans down. Now, at Fair Park, chefs will cook across over 40 different food stations in games of Olympic proportions—appropriately titled Biscuits & Jampionships, Bourb’N’Que, Fire Woman, the latter of which highlighting four female pitmasters as they compete for the title of Fire Woman, as well as a cash prize.Continue reading
