As Sylvan | Thirty gets closer to opening I get more excited. There is promise of so many more new restaurants and shops without the tomfoolery of the chains that smite the dining landscape in Dallas. The news is trickling and today we learned about Bottega Italia which is set to open in December, just in time for that holiday dinner you wanted to invite me to.
Local chef Daniele Puleo has signed a lease to open Bottega Italia, a cafe, market and coffee and wine bar, at Sylvan | Thirty, the much-anticipated mixed-use development at the crossroads of West Dallas and North Oak Cliff. Construction on the 4,400-square foot market, which will also feature a 2,200-square foot patio, will begin in the coming weeks, with an anticipated opening date of December 2014. Continue reading
