The Second Annual Jazz Age Sunday Social March 22

Don your best 20s attire or walking whites and get ready to Charleston the afternoon away at the 2nd Annual Jazz Age Sunday Social, at Dallas Heritage Village on Sunday, March 22, noon – 4 p.m., 1515 S. Harwood, Dallas. Presented by Dallas Heritage Village and the Art Deco Society of Dallas, this jazz age inspired lawn party will surround the Van Cleave Bandstand with an afternoon of live music by the 18-piece Singapore Slingers and Razzmajazz Dixieland Band, playing a repertoire of traditional jazz from the 1920s and 1930s. History with a Twist is a celebration of classic American cocktails, created by noted Dallas Mixologist Michael Martensen. Attendees can stroll down Dallas Heritage Village’s Main Street and visit various cocktail stations while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres and entertainment from the Singapore Slingers. This event is a celebration of classic American cocktails, served along the charming Main Street at Dallas Heritage Village, which features historic buildings, including a bank, a general store, a saloon and a rail depot.

Vintage attire from Prohibition and the early 20th century is encouraged. There will also be a silent auction featuring dining and wine packages, along with some exclusive experiences, a photo booth, vintage car display and more.   Continue reading
