The heart of the home, the place where everyone gathers – we all know it as the kitchen. On November 1, that evolves into Kitchen, a new mini food hall and takeout market concept from Dallas restaurateur Scott Jones. While concepts may rotate from time to time, Kitchen launches with Jack’s Modern Southern Kitchen and Dallas Meatball Kitchen as its first two featured menus. Kitchen is located at 6041 Oram in East Dallas and offers dining, takeout and delivery options for those who crave the taste of homemade.
“We want people to come in and congregate, and enjoy a variety of things,” said Jones, who is well known for creating acclaimed concepts such as Screen Door, Gourmet a Go-Go and the reboot of the beloved Dallas Italian restaurant, Café Italia. “This has all the warm feelings of being in your mom’s kitchen, but no one is offended if you just eat and run.” Continue reading
