Hundreds of people across North Texas have been left homeless and in desperate need of food, water, shelter and other basic necessities after their communities were devastated by tornadoes that ripped through the area on Saturday, Dec. 26. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, which has two restaurants and dozens of crewmembers in the affected areas, is teaming with a local church to assist in the massive relief effort.
On Wednesday, Dec. 30, Raising Cane’s restaurants in Rowlett and Rockwall will donate 100 percent of sales from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. to the First United Methodist Church of Rowlett, which is actively organizing relief efforts in the Rowlett and Garland communities. All funds raised will go directly to assisting those who have been displaced or negatively affected by the tornadoes.
In addition, all 33 Raising Cane’s restaurants throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market will be accepting donations through Wednesday, Jan. 6. These funds will also be donated to First United Methodist of Rowlett. No purchase is necessary. Continue reading →
