Husband and wife chef team Casey and Amy LaRue have opened Carte Blanche in the old Mudsmith space on lower Greenville. The restaurant offers two tasting courses, which can be paired with wine or tea service. A 12-course tasting menu runs $150 while the 4-course option only sets you back $75. Wine pairings are priced at $115 or $225 for higher end options. Wines may also be ordered à la carte, or you may bring in a bottle of your own for a $45 corkage fee .
In the mornings Carte Blanche transforms into a bakery where Chef Amy’s creations take over. Pastries, breads, coffee, donuts and a rotating selection of breakfast items are available on Wednesday through Sunday from 7am till noon.Continue reading
