We have compiled what we think are the better burs in Dallas. There is a list for chef burgers and FW burgers listed at the bottom of the article today. So many burgers were consumed that we decided to break the list apart in a few categories to keep it all fair.
This said, let us begin in no particular order, except for the first burger which we consider our favorite in the Dallas area.
There is a place, a hidden place, where you can find cold beer, great burgers and incredible live music. This is the place many know as Lee Harvey’s. In its own compound surrounded by barbed wire and a double gate to prevent happy pets from either getting in, or escaping, you will find nothing but great camaraderie and smiles at this hot spot in the Cedars area of Dallas.
The food at Lee Harvey’s is nothing short of splendid, and is made out of a kitchen much smaller than your own at home. Most of the free world is looking forward to the latest edition of the Super Bowl, a rematch of 2004’s Super Bowl XXXIX, which was won by New England 24–21, Super Bowl LII is the first Super Bowl appearance for the Eagles since that game. The Patriots became the first team since the Seattle Seahawks (who made Super Bowls XLVIII and XLIX) to appear in two consecutive Super Bowls, having won Super Bowl LI in the previous season, and are also seeking to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl victors since the Patriots themselves won Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX. Philadelphia is making its third appearance in the Super Bowl, having lost Super Bowls XV and XXXIX.

That fab bar Lee Harvey’s sends word that it is now Winterized. Now you may enjoy the giant compound in full warm an cozy comfort. I always likened the space to a prison yard, replete with the barbed wire fencing.
The patio (deck area) is now completely enclosed to keep the heat in. They will be installing two additional heaters on the patio to keep everyone warm. They also have the fire pits going in the yard and you are welcome to bring S’mores fixings if you desire. So stock up on chocolate, marshmallows and grahams. You will also need to bring along your own marshmallow sticks. Continue reading →
